Context 

  • The client wanted to open 3 new stores and 2 new offices in the Philippines and Vietnam.

  • The client has resource constraints for greenfield projects.

  • A dedicated PMO team is required to drive tasks for the client.

Objectives

  • Create an end-to-end project plan with robust linkages on all inter-workstream dependencies

  • On-time store opening


What we delivered

  • We created a rigorously-detailed plan that connected dependencies between workstreams and worked tirelessly to drive tasks and efficient communications, to avoid team working in SILOs.​

  • We led crisis management for the following:

  • We quickly created task forces to address immediate/unexpected issues during the entity set-up and other related issues.​

  • We envisaged bottlenecks and alerted the relevant teams to find a solution.​

Results

  • Successfully set up entities in both countries, now on track to complete all necessary registration and licensing

  • Project phase two kicked off in June 2022

  • On track for the end of 2022 target openings ​​
